All too often we ask God to provide us with what we think we need to accomplish the task he has set before us without realizing that he has already equipped us with everything we need. We just need to accept that what he chosen to bless us with are the very things that are required to do what he asks. But we are a stiff-necked people. We ask for cars when bicycles will do. We ask for money when what we need are giving spirits. We ask for safety when what he wants is for us to step out in faith. Join me in this series as we look at the tasks that God has set before us and we check our tool belts to find that we have everything we need to accomplish his will.

2 The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me.’
WHEN THE PANTRY IS BARE

13 Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son.
