About Rev. Walt

This is a most exciting time in his life as Rev. Walt serves as Pastor of First Christian Church of Fort Stockton, TX. He is a commissioned minister with The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest Region. It seems his whole life has led to this moment; that God has provided a tool set, support system, education and a burning desire to lift this congregation of loving and dedicated followers of Christ.

Having spent 20 years in the theatre industry and then 20 years working in Information Technology, Few people can say that they have been blessed to have experienced all that he has been graced to enjoy in life. He has taught, designed, built, programmed, maintained, developed, acted, directed and trained. He has written music, poetry, novels and plays. He has photographed the world as he sees it and has met and worked with some of the most fascinating people on the planet. He have friends, companions and associates around the world. He is a man of faith and is grateful for all that God has given him. He is also very thankful that God allows him to learn something new each and every day. His daily goal is to lift those around him and help them in any way that he can.

He is a Certified John Maxwell Speaker, Trainer and Coach and a licensed insurance agent in the state of Texas. He wants to take what he has learned and experienced and use it to bring each soul that he encounters closer to their Creator. Each and every day he strives to be a better example of Jesus to the world than he was yesterday.
