A CAMPFIRE TALE

Before the written word, people would gather around the campfire at night and listen to storytellers who reminded their tribes of their history and place within Creation. They would bring focus to humankind’s relationship with their Creator through stories and poems passed down, generation to generation. The book of Genesis, authored by Moses, collects these stories and poems, as well as inspired narratives from his communications with God, into a timeline that leads us all the way to the Israelites and their captivity in Egypt. I call these stories: Campfire Tales. This first collection engages with where it all begins.
