Disbelief and distrust is common in the world the inhabit. We struggle to know who we can trust when our senses deceive us. If we can’t see it, feel it, hear it, touch it, or smell it we are tempted to believe that it does not exist. And often, knowing that the air is invisible, that we can’t smell a cloud, that we can’t see in the dark, and when we reach out with our hands and find nothing there, we just put it out of our mind as non-existent. Let’s talk about Thomas a little and see if we can find some stability in our disbelief.
